Position: Workshop Manager Department: Maintenance / Mechanical Workshop Reports to: Operations Manager Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Location: Baja Bus Job Objective: Supervise, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for transportation vehicles, ensuring their optimal operation and operational availability. Manage workshop personnel and guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards. Main Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance services for vehicles. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic failures and assign tasks to appropriate personnel. Supervise the team of mechanics and technicians in their daily activities. Coordinate with the procurement department for purchasing spare parts, tools, and supplies. Maintain maintenance records and technical reports for each vehicle. Verify that work is performed according to scheduled timelines and quality standards. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations within the workshop. Prepare periodic reports on incidents, progress, and departmental needs. Requirements: Technical degree or engineering degree in automotive mechanics, electromechanics, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position. Knowledge of bus or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in maintenance control systems. Ability to lead teams and work under pressure. Proactive, organized, and results-oriented attitude.
