Description and details of the activities Coordinates and performs all required factory HVAC tests. Testing is coordinated with the PM, Production, and the Submittal Team. Writes all test procedures to support the submittal process. This includes, but is not limited to, airflow, leakage, deflection, acoustical, electrical checkouts, fan vibration, controls, and DX testing. Experience and requirements * Ability to read and understand various types of blueprints, submittals, and other contract documents. * Ability to closely document activities, work procedures, and test results. * Ability to test and troubleshoot problems related to unit operation, performance, or quality. * Other duties may be added as needed on a job-by-job basis as dictated by the Project Manager or Director of Engineering. * Writes all Test Procedures to meet the contract documents. * Coordinates all Factory Tests. * Conducts all Factory Witness Tests. * Writes and publishes Testing Agenda. * Coordinates the testing set-up with production and ensures the HVAC unit is ready for testing. * Generates all testing results and associated documentation.
