The organization is seeking to add a Continuous Improvement Supervisor to its team—someone who will lead transformations, influence organizational culture, and directly contribute to the plant’s operational and financial performance. **Reports to**: Engineering Manager **Supervises**: Continuous Improvement Engineer / Jr. Continuous Improvement Engineer **Position Purpose** Implement the Lean Manufacturing methodology through strategic, systemic, and tactical initiatives, driving cultural change via employee engagement to eliminate waste, improve processes, and strengthen the organization’s operational and financial performance. **Key Duties and Responsibilities** * Define and deploy Continuous Improvement strategies, plans, and goals aimed at achieving a world\-class operation. * Lead and facilitate strategic projects and Kaizen events with direct impact on productivity and financial margins. * Develop and implement Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC). * Lead cross\-functional teams and actively participate in selected process improvement projects. * Identify, lead, and execute multiple cross\-functional process improvement initiatives simultaneously. * Act as a change agent to implement organizational improvements that increase customer satisfaction and business productivity. * Promote a Lean culture through continuous employee involvement. * Serve as mentor and trainer in business processes and Continuous Improvement tools. * Implement standardized and ergonomic workstations. * Conduct studies and analyses focused on process optimization. * Implement Andon systems, Poka\-Yoke solutions, daily improvement projects, and Kaizen events. * Propose and execute changes to layouts, work systems, and machinery adaptations. * Provide support to different departments in scrap reduction initiatives. * Lead and coordinate the plant’s annual Strategic Planning events. * Track and ensure follow\-up on improvement projects implemented by the Continuous Improvement team. **Minimum Requirements** * Minimum 7 years of experience implementing Continuous Improvement processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. * At least 5 years of experience leading Continuous Improvement teams. * Advanced English proficiency. * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related field. **Preferred Requirements** * Lean Manufacturing certification or Green Belt (preferred). * Lean tools: 5S, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover (SMED), TPM. * Experience with Kanban systems, cost reduction initiatives, and problem\-solving methodologies.
