Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Line Mechanical Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance, technical diagnosis, operation and commissioning, fabrication, repair, and control of production machinery.

**Production Line Mechanical Technician**
**Main Responsibilities:**
**1\. Corrective and Preventive Maintenance**
* Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production area machinery and equipment (saws, planers, wood CNC machines, presses, and assembly machinery).
* Conduct adjustments, calibrations, and alignments on cutting and drilling equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy.
* Address malfunctions in nailers, pneumatic staplers, and upholstery equipment.
* Maintain dust and sawdust extraction systems.
**2\. Technical Diagnosis**
* Detect vibrations, misalignments, or wear affecting assembly quality or machine performance.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
* Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams to effectively locate faults.
**3\. Operation and Commissioning**
* Provide technical support during line startups following major maintenance activities.
* Monitor the operation of wood and plastic CNC machinery, ensuring appropriate parameters and operational continuity.
**4\. Fabrication and Repair**
* Fabricate and repair fixtures and tools for assembly and production processes.
* Perform cutting and welding tasks (arc and MIG) as required by the department.
**5\. Control and Follow-up**
* Monitor mechanical conditions that may lead to structural defects or rework.
* Document completed work, identified failures, and implemented actions.
**6\. Safety and Best Practices**
* Ensure proper operation of machinery and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
* Guarantee that repairs do not compromise operator or equipment safety.
**Requirements:**
* 2–3 years of experience as a mechanical technician.
* Technical background in maintenance, electromechanics, TSU, or related field.
* SolidWorks – Basic proficiency for reviewing and consulting fixture designs.
* Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and electricity — diploma or training certification required.
* Ability to diagnose failures across various woodworking equipment.
* Familiarity with high-volume compressor operation and handling.
* Basic PLC knowledge.
* Basic English — reading, writing, and comprehension.
* Basic computer skills for updating *status*, generating reports, and maintaining service logs.
* Responsible, self-directed, with strong communication skills and initiative.
* Shift availability — rotating shifts; willingness to work day shift (6 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and night shift (4 p.m. to 1 a.m.) as required.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Good physical condition required.
