*A leading company in the healthcare industry is looking for a* ***Veterinary Surgeon*** *in the city of Tijuana.* **Requirements:** * Veterinary surgeon * Graduated with professional license * 25 years of age or older * Minimum 3 years of experience in small animal clinics (dogs and cats) * Must have at least 3 years of experience in soft tissue surgery * Desirable: 3 years of experience in orthopedic surgeries * Desirable: completion of a program at a teaching hospital * Desirable: continuing education in veterinary surgery * Must have knowledge of clinical care for small animal species * Implementation of medical treatments * Handling and treatment of animals * Knowledge of veterinary drug usage * **English language proficiency (preferred)** **Responsibilities:** * Provide timely and courteous service to clients and patients * Perform surgeries on dogs and cats * Conduct preoperative evaluations and provide postoperative care * Implement and monitor in-hospital treatments * Administer medication and attend to patients * Promptly respond to emergencies * Provide timely follow-up to pet owners regarding their pet's health status * Basic management of intensive care, anesthesia, and emergency procedures * Examine animals to identify and diagnose diseases, disorders, or injuries * Collect, send, process, and interpret laboratory and imaging samples * Basic ultrasound operation * Treat injured or sick animals, e.g., by prescribing and administering medication, treating wounds, and/or administering anesthesia for procedures * Maintain accurate preventive medicine records tailored to each patient * Perform ethical and justified euthanasia on patients with conditions incompatible with life * Advise animal owners on hygiene measures, nutrition, and general care necessary to promote patient and family well-being * Complete patient records and maintain documentation of each visit, including progress and treatments * Make phone calls or send text messages/WhatsApp messages to pet owners for timely and precise patient follow-up Job type: Full-time, Fixed-term or project-based Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Work schedule: * On-call shifts * Availability for night shifts * Rotating shifts * 10-hour shifts * 12-hour shifts * 8-hour shifts Education: * Completed bachelor's degree (Mandatory) Work location: On-site Application deadline: 06/22/2025
