Generation of reliable financial information Description and details of responsibilities **Position Description:** Position Objective: Contribute to the efficient operation of the accounting department by optimizing resources and tools to generate accurate and timely financial information that effectively supports decision-making. Responsibilities: 1\. Verify that accounting entries comply with all requirements stipulated by the Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF), current tax regulations, and internal policies. 2\. Review monthly closing entries, including depreciation, amortization, revaluation, and tax provisions. 3\. Review bank reconciliations. 4\. Review trial balance balances and follow up on outstanding balances requiring clarification. 5\. Review calculations for provisional and final ISR, IVA, and withholding tax payments. 6\. Fixed asset control. 7\. Ensure generation of SAT Compliance Opinion reports and timely follow-up in case of a negative opinion. 8\. Ensure timely follow-up on messages and/or notifications from the tax mailbox. 9\. Submit appropriate clarifications to tax authorities responsible for enforcing tax compliance obligations. 10\. Maintain updated records of tax obligations with relevant authorities. Experience and Requirements **Responsibilities:** 1\. Ensure the company correctly and timely fulfills its tax obligations. 2\. Guarantee that financial information is accurate and reliable. 3\. Comply with and ensure implementation and monitoring of internal and external accounting standards. 4\. Proficiency in Contpaq electronic spreadsheet 7\.
