Description and details of responsibilities Contributes to and participates in process improvements based on root cause analysis of manufacturing and service product failures.1 Detects, analyzes, and repairs component-level faults in electronic boards by interpreting electronic schematics and symbols. Supports the engineering department in analyzing and investigating failures reported by customers. Uses software to search, download, and print work instructions applicable to the product. Diagnoses, repairs, updates, tests, and performs preventive and/or corrective maintenance on service products by interpreting diagrams, service guides, manuals, reports, and results obtained from product software. Specifies in DHR which service bulletins apply to service products. Diagnoses, repairs, and tests manufacturing products by interpreting diagrams, reports, and results obtained from product software. Removes, installs, and solders electronic components and boards. Detects and corrects faults by replacing wiring and assemblies in manufacturing and service products. Interprets customer complaints and work instructions in English. Uses precision equipment, custom fixtures, scales, mechanical tools, manual presses, solvent handling, and basic multimeter operation. Performs visual inspection of manufactured and service products and replaces them if necessary. Detects/corrects atypical or excessive noise. Knows and applies assembly processes, service bulletins, and testing procedures for manufactured or service products. Documents technical activities performed during diagnosis or repair in detail; tracks replaced parts during the service process; and documents in FORM423 and FORM240\. Follows work instructions and documents information in DHR. Performs tasks assigned by immediate supervisor according to departmental and company needs.
