




**Position Purpose** Reports to the Engineering and Projects Manager for the development of new automation projects, optimization of existing processes, and improvement of equipment safety aspects. Also provides technical support (troubleshooting and improvement design) to the plant team for both semi-automated and traditional equipment. Ensures Safety and Quality activities and practices. Supports various working teams, evaluation committees, safety brigades, etc. **Position Expectations / Responsibilities** * Daily supervision of the work area through walkthroughs and visual inspections to identify defects and route them to the appropriate department for follow-up—either by creating a notification in SAP or resolving them immediately. * Adjust, maintain, and repair machinery—semi-automated and automated—following established work methods and the preventive maintenance plan in SAP to avoid downtime affecting manufacturing. * Provide technical support to Mechanical Maintenance and Building Maintenance departments, following work instructions to prevent machinery failure and malfunctions in other areas. * Develop and implement continuous improvement projects for production processes, including justification for such projects. * Design Safety Guards and Emergency Stops for use on automated and semi\-automated production equipment. * Prepare technical drawings required to fabricate parts needed for machinery, specifying required mechanical properties and geometry. * Support the Engineering and Projects Manager in analyzing, selecting, installing, evaluating, diagnosing, controlling, and optimizing maintenance of electrical and electronic production-related equipment. * Generate electrical and/or electronic diagrams for production machinery or equipment, and develop fault-location guides to facilitate maintenance personnel’s activities. * Support the Manufacturing Department in analyzing and correcting equipment failures, as well as implementing equipment improvements. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on traditional and semi-automated production machinery and equipment as required. * Ensure continuous improvement to help achieve established OEE targets for equipment. • Support activities such as equipment or machinery relocation within or outside the plant. * Participate in developing machinery or production equipment operating procedures, work instructions, or any document requiring their input. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations (ISO13485, CE\-MARK, FDA/GMP), per established policies and procedures. **Required Qualifications:** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or a related field. English: Advanced level. Experience: 5\-8 years in equipment maintenance (mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic) and mechanical engineering.
