Job Description and Activity Details **Position Role.** Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting cargo between countries, ensuring compliance with customs and binational transit regulations. The primary objective is to guarantee timely and secure delivery of goods, contributing to the continuous flow of the supply chain. **Responsibilities.** a) Load and secure cargo onto the truck according to customer specifications and safety regulations. b) Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any abnormalities or maintenance needs. c) Transport goods while complying with national and international traffic laws. d) Present and manage required documentation at customs checkpoints. e) Coordinate with the transportation manager to ensure on-time deliveries. f) Ensure cargo integrity during transport and delivery. g) Comply with company procedures and policies at all times. h) Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary. i) Maintain accurate records of travel times and deliveries completed. Experience and Requirements **Job Requirements.** **Education and Experience:** * Completed high school (mandatory). * 3 years of experience in international freight transportation. * Valid Federal driver's license and VISA. * Proof of psychophysical fitness (transportation department). * Certification in hazardous materials handling (desirable). **English Level:** 50% comprehension for document reading and basic communication (desirable). **Knowledge and Skills:** a) Knowledge of binational routes and customs procedures. b) Safe operation of heavy freight vehicles. c) Use of GPS navigation systems and route optimization techniques. d) Ability to maintain accurate and clear records. e) High stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure.
