Job Summary: Responsible for managing materials and inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to support manufacturing operations. Key Points: 1. Receive stock material or material that may be returned from Production. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Pick parts from stock to build kits assigned to Production Control; issue and distribute kits to the manufacturing operation • Complete and account for material requests sent from Operations • Receive and place parts/components into stock from Receiving/Inspection • Assist in tracking and fulfilling pending orders as parts/components become available • Ensure correct balances are maintained by performing Cycle Counts • Include the parts preparation area and Value-Added inventory • Monitor appropriate reports to ensure priority material is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner • Restock shelves with incoming material from various sources and locate material in the computerized system • Ensure correct balances are maintained by performing Cycle Counts and conduct thorough investigations of any discrepancies found during Cycle Counts • Fully reconcile kits returned from the production plant, including complete investigation and documentation of all discrepancies identified • Investigate and identify material-related issues using all available queries within the computerized system **REQUIREMENTS** • 0\-3 \+ years of experience in materials/warehouse • Effective organizational and prioritization skills • Effective interpersonal skills • Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner • Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism when representing the company • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work well individually or as part of a team • Require close supervision to complete tasks • Ability to work overtime as needed • Demonstrate ability to work effectively with suppliers or customers • Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
