Production Supervisor

Job Description and Activity Details Position Objective: The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a group of line leaders and associates to efficiently, productively, and quality-consciously fulfill the production plan. Additionally, they determine resource allocation to ensure that machines, equipment, and fixtures operate properly. The supervisor possesses strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, expertise in designing manufacturing cells, line balancing, scrap control, and commitment to various metrics or goals established by the company. Ensure compliance with applicable Environmental Management System requirements for their work area and verify chemical labeling * Execution of the production plan * Monitoring of production metrics * Resource management for improved efficiency * Continuous Improvement initiatives and campaigns (3-and-Stop, 5S, Kaizen Ideas) * First-article release * Production documentation * Tracking of NCRs and CAPAs Experience and Requirements * Education Required \- Completed or incomplete high school diploma preferred * Experience Required \- 5 years of experience as a supervisor * Language (Proficiency Level) \- Not required for this position * Computer Knowledge \- Basic (data entry into application programs and/or text processing) * Competencies \- Leadership, working under pressure, commitment, honesty, development of continuous improvement systems, results-oriented * Additional Comments \- Preference given to candidates with experience in ISO 13485 and FDA systems.
