Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Leveraging our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team manages multiple systems, and our operational capabilities ensure medications are available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams. Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on molds/tools—simple or multi-cavity—as well as their hot runner systems and mechanical components. Fabricate replacement parts for existing molds used in plastic injection-molded part production.**Job Description** =================== * Ability to work with engineering requirements, interpret tool/mold drawings/plans, and master tolerance systems. Produce parts within tolerances specified on drawings, as well as accessories supporting injection molding production. * Collaborate with process engineer(s) and molding process technicians to successfully resolve and propose improvements for production mold issues. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds, including their hot runner systems. Maintain records of all work performed. Work with minimal supervision across a variety of different projects and additional tasks assigned by the Tool Room Supervisor. * Projects and tasks assigned by the Tool Room Supervisor. * Conduct visual analysis and proactive defect detection to prevent future damage or defects in components or molds. * Use of personal protective equipment (safety-toed shoes; gloves; safety glasses; etc.) * Knowledge of crane/hand hoist operation for moving molds/tools (prior training required) * Support and follow up on continuous improvement programs: 5S, Operational Excellence, etc. Maintain order and cleanliness after completing work. Do not leave unnecessary tools on machines or in the work area, nor water/oil residues, etc., and ensure proper disposal of materials or waste generated during task execution. * Practice and promote the company’s cultural values. **Requirements:** * 4–5 years in similar positions * Technical degree (mandatory) in Machinery and Tools or related field. * Basic English * Medical industry experience (preferred) "BD values workplace equity and does not discriminate against any individual based on disability, class, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation".
