The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our organization’s compliance with international trade regulations and managing our trade compliance processes. * Supervise and manage daily operations of the trade compliance team. * Develop and implement trade regulatory compliance policies and procedures. * Monitor and analyze international trade regulations to ensure organizational compliance. * Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to trade regulatory compliance. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and mitigate risks. * Provide guidance and training to staff on trade compliance matters. * Manage preparation and submission of import/export documentation. * Serve as liaison with customs authorities and other regulatory agencies as required. * Ensure accurate classification of goods and determination of duties and taxes. * Stay current with changes in trade laws and regulations, particularly those related to the USMCA. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field. * More than 5 years of experience in trade compliance or related field. * In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and trade agreements. * Proficiency with trade compliance software and databases. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team. * Experience supervising and training staff. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or similar certification preferred. * Familiarity with NAFTA/USMCA regulations. * Fluency in English and Spanish (given the position’s location in Tijuana, Mexico). **Additional Information** We believe diverse perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company thrive.
