Interdepartmental collaboration for proper process execution MAJOR TRANSPORTATION COMPANY SEEKING LOGISTICS ASSISTANT Requirements: Education: High school diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics or related field Flexible working hours 1 year of experience in a similar position Key Responsibilities: 1\.\- Route Optimization\- Develop and optimize logistics routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transportation costs. Utilize technological tools and specialized software for route planning and scenario simulation. 2\.\- Logistics Resource Management\- Monitor vehicle and equipment performance, ensuring preventive maintenance and timely availability.\- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards. 3\.\- Operations Monitoring and Control\- Continuously track logistics operations to ensure adherence to established routes and delivery schedules. 4\.\- Information Management and Reporting\- Prepare detailed reports on logistics performance, including efficiency metrics, delivery times, fuel consumption, and other key aspects. 5\.\- Interdepartmental Collaboration\- Work closely with other departments—including maintenance, procurement, human resources, security, and quality—to ensure proper execution of logistics processes.
