Job Description and Responsibilities Provides support for purchasing assigned materials, subcomponents, and services in a multi-plant environment. Implements detailed tracking programs for the launch of assigned products, monitors inventory levels, and ensures coverage of open orders. Supports all assigned customer accounts, including: new product introductions, supplier negotiations, inventory level management, and MRB disposition. 1\) Download system reports for weekly demand validation and analysis. 2\) Release purchase orders based on system requirements. 3\) Request PPV, long-term risk buys, and excesses from the account’s responsible Project Manager (PM) for customer validation. 4\) Send released purchase orders to suppliers. 5\) Send expedites, shipments, and cancellations per system requirements. 6\) Identify monthly impacts reflected in the CTB report and simulations provided by Planning. 7\) Notify and escalate detected impacts weekly. 8\) Validate invoice discrepancies with Finance and suppliers; coordinate with the Finance team on discrepancies related to material receipt—whether notified via receiving reports or Import/Export documentation and invoices. 9\) Validate the weekly CTB with the supervisor to review details and present to customers. Experience and Requirements * Completed degree (preferred) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 1–3 years of experience in electronics procurement. * Ability to interpret system reports and Excel. * Ability to respond appropriately to issues identified on assigned accounts and part numbers. * Proficiency with Windows-based software, Word, and Excel (charts, spreadsheets, etc.). * Experience with ERP software such as Oracle (preferred). * As interaction between customers and suppliers is required—to provide status updates on critical part numbers or requirements—any issue will be addressed or escalated to the PM group or supervisor/manager.
