Job Summary: We are seeking an Engineer with experience in Safety, Hygiene, and Environment to ensure legal compliance, manage environmental permits, develop safety procedures, and deliver safety training. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in legal compliance with STPS and Environmental regulations. 2. Opportunity to lead safety and continuous improvement programs. 3. Responsible for permits, reporting, and brigade administration. Job Description and Detailed Responsibilities * Ensure legal compliance with Mexican STPS and Environmental regulations, * Conduct environmental permit applications * Prepare State/Federal COA (Certificate of Compliance) * Develop/Audit Contingency Plans * Process State and Municipal licenses, * Develop safety procedures * Reporting to authorities. * Deliver industrial safety training courses * Internal Civil Protection Program, * Brigade administration and training. * Implement the General Emergency and Environmental Contingency Prevention and Response Plan * Collect information for environmental and safety studies. * Administer and report performance indicators (KPIs) for Hygiene and Safety programs such as LOTOTO, Good Catch, BBS, and 5S. * Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects. Experience and Requirements 1\. Industrial Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Environmental Engineer, or related field. 2\. Minimum 2 years of experience in Safety, Hygiene, and Environment. 3\. Conversational English. 4\. Knowledge of legal fundamentals of Mexican STPS and Environmental regulations. 5\. Government permit applications, manifests, reports, licenses, certificates, registrations, renewals, notifications, internal plans, risk assessments. 6\. Knowledge of legal fundamentals of Mexican STPS and Environmental regulations.
