Metrics analysis and direct customer service Our customs brokerage agency seeks an Import Supervisor with solid technical experience and leadership ability, responsible for ensuring proper clearance of import operations in accordance with current regulations, thereby guaranteeing legal compliance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: * Supervise the correct preparation, validation, and payment of import customs declarations (pedimentos). * Ensure compliance with the Customs Law, its Regulations, and the General Rules of Foreign Trade. * Coordinate and monitor the import executives team. * Validate tariff classification and non-tariff regulations and restrictions. * Track customs inspections and official authority requirements. * Ensure documentary control and compliance within VUCEM. * **Prepare and submit daily and monthly operation reports, performance indicators, incidents, and customs clearance status.** * **Analyze operational metrics to identify deviations and propose corrective actions.** * **Provide direct customer service, including operation tracking, incident resolution, and advisory support on foreign trade matters.** * Monitor customs clearance times and KPI compliance. * Support internal audits and compliance reviews. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, Law, or related field (mandatory). * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a customs brokerage agency. * Prior experience supervising an operational team. * Customs Law * General Rules of Foreign Trade * Annex 22 * Tariff classification * VUCEM * Non-tariff regulations * Customs system proficiency (CASA, SAAI, or similar). * High attention to detail and strong sense of legal responsibility. * Leadership and decision-making capability.
