To perform routine assembly operations, you must carry out the following prescribed processes while ensuring adherence to quality standards. This job description represents the main responsibilities that any person assigned to this position must be able to perform. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *This section contains a list of five to eight primary job responsibilities. The individual will perform other functions as assigned.* 1\. Operate automatic machinery or perform repetitive assembly tasks that are not highly complex, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to work with simple hand tools. 2\. Report any anomalies or issues related to equipment, tools, or materials to your immediate supervisor. 3\. Be responsible for organizing or allocating all materials to their designated area and maintaining a clean work area at the end of your shift. 4\. Under direction and supervision, assemble basic components or subassemblies using basic tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, pliers, wire cutters, or cotton swabs. Work at a pre-assigned production level while ensuring high quality is maintained. 5\. Work with soldering, FLUX, adhesives, and other basic schematics, diagrams, process sheets, and/or assembly execution. 6\. Use simple machinery that prepares component parts for future assembly. 7\. Package or assemble items for shipment, ensuring protection against potential shipping damage, and ensure all required parts and instructions are present. 8\. Maintain accurate inventory of completed assemblies. 9\. Perform basic visual and/or physical inspections during the process to ensure quality and appearance standards are met. 10\. Rotate across various workstations to gain training, general knowledge, and experience across multiple stations within the work center or department. May be assigned to more complex assembly tasks to facilitate on-the-job training within the work center to meet operational needs. 11\. Diagnose defective operations, product imperfections, and/or equipment malfunctions, and cooperate with technical staff and/or supervisors to resolve discrepancies. 12\. Follow prescribed safety regulations, including wearing lab coats and safety goggles as required. 13\. Actively apply quality training skills in all related activities to improve all products and processes impacted by this position. 14\. May be required to work overtime as needed. 15\. Attend training or development programs as required by your supervisor. 16\. Perform related or similar duties as required.
