




Description and details of activities **1\. Import Management** * Coordination of imports of raw materials, fixed assets, and machinery. * Supervision of virtual and definitive operations. * Validation of customs entries, tariff fractions, and certificates of origin. * Review of shipping documentation and compliance with customs requirements. * Ensure the team is applying ALL import benefits to avoid paying IGI. * Balance team workload to provide a continuous flow to our materials and production teams. * Ensure priority is given to urgent imports to meet the requirements of involved departments. * Ensure certificates of origin are requested to apply benefits. * Prepare import reports as required. **2\. Export Management** * Coordination of finished product exports. * Preparation of proforma invoices. * Ensure COVES are correctly activated or canceled. * Ensure the team reviews data before submitting export documents (license plates, seals, economic numbers, etc.). * Prepare export reports as required. **3\. Legal and Tax Compliance** * Application of the Customs Law, Foreign Trade Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, and TIGIE. * Management of Value Manifestation, Origin Inspection, and IVA and IEPS Certification. * Administration of IMMEX, PROSEC, OEA, and CTPAT programs. * Preparation of Annex 24 and 30 reports. * Maintain updated inventory control system. **4\. Relations with Authorities and Suppliers** * Processing procedures with SAT, Ministry of Economy, and National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM). * Coordination with customs brokers, carriers, and logistics suppliers. **5\. Audits and Internal Control** * Preparation and handling of internal and external audits. * Responsible for physical and digital record keeping. **6\. Leadership and Communication** Experience and Requirements **Education**: Bachelor's degree in International Trade or International Business. **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a similar position. **Knowledge** * Customs Law and its regulations. * IMMEX, PROSEC, IVA/IEPS programs. * Tariff classification and international treaties. * ERP/MRP systems (SAP), Annex 24 system (Prisma). * Proficiency in Incoterms and customs entry codes.
