




Job Summary: This role involves conducting security rounds, inspecting cargo with X-ray machines, ensuring compliance with AVSEC procedures, and coordinating access and security operations. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in security and air cargo operations. 2. Handling of security protocols in warehouses and restricted areas. 3. Coordination of activities and personnel to streamline procedures. **ACTIVITIES** * Conduct security patrols throughout the facility to prevent and detect theft, fires, unauthorized personnel, acts of unlawful interference, misuse of facilities in general, as well as to verify that deterrent signage is complete and visible and that all individuals within restricted security areas wear their identification visibly. * Perform cargo inspection using X-ray equipment based on AVSEC procedures. * Verify compliance with and adherence to established AVSEC (Aviation Security) procedures outlined in the Secure Cargo Operator Manual (SCOM). * Verify compliance with security directives to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate delivery of private security services provided by the service provider. * Control and coordinate access to restricted areas for employees, visitors, and/or suppliers. * Verify proper use of operational equipment, materials, and/or tools, as well as their timely supply and replenishment. * Address various control, monitoring, and record-keeping requirements related to movements at control checkpoints. * Verify shift activity information using checklists for checkpoints and the Incident Logbook. * Analyze performance indicator statistics to implement necessary actions to achieve targets. * Coordinate with Operations Management regarding schedules, activities, customer needs, and analysis of improvements and changes to streamline procedures. * Facilitate, control, and safeguard documents and information within the area. * Follow up on asset protection and AVSEC (Aviation Security) investigations. * Coordinate operations with operations supervisors. **EDUCATION:** Completed high school; preferably with courses related to international trade, logistics, airports, air cargo, Bachelor’s degree in Criminalistics, or similar. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of warehouse management and security (cargo, facilities, protocols, etc.). * Proficiency in Word, Excel, and software applications. * Ability to organize personnel. **EXPERIENCE:** * In shipping and receiving warehouses: 2 years * Access to restricted areas: 2 years * Cargo inspection using X-ray equipment: 2 years (Desirable) * Knowledge of AVSEC (Aviation Security): 2 years * Availability to work Monday through Saturday: 1 year * Verification of air cargo security conditions: 2 years * Security conditions across various company areas: 2 years **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:** * Organizational, planning, and leadership skills. * Training in cargo handling. * Ability to work in a team. **WORK LOCATION:** Hangar, Warehouse, Tijuana International Airport, B.C. **BENEFITS:** Statutory benefits, availability to work Monday through Saturday (required) Employment type: Full-time Salary: Up to $4,100.00 per week Benefits: * Free parking * Free uniforms Education: * Completed high school (Desirable) Experience: * Warehouse operations: 3 years (Desirable) * Shipping and receiving warehouses: 2 years (Desirable) * Access to restricted areas: 2 years (Desirable) * Cargo inspection using X-ray equipment: 2 years (Desirable) * Knowledge of AVSEC (Aviation Security): 2 years (Desirable) * Availability to work Monday through Saturday: 1 year (Desirable) * Verification of air cargo security conditions: 2 years (Desirable) * Security conditions across various company areas: 2 years (Desirable) Work location: On-site employment
