Strategic Logistics and Inventory Management **Logistics and Foreign Trade Manager** -------------------------------------------- ### **1\. Position Objective** Plan, direct, and optimize the company’s logistics operations, ensuring efficient flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers to end customers. Guarantee regulatory compliance — especially in foreign trade — cost reduction, and high service levels. ### **2\. Key Responsibilities** * Plan and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs and legal regulations. * Manage and monitor the **IMMEX program**, ensuring fiscal and operational compliance. * Control and supervise compliance with **Annex 24 (inventory control)**, ensuring proper traceability of goods. * Coordinate customs clearance processes, tariff classification, and foreign trade documentation. * Manage product distribution, transportation, and warehousing, optimizing routes, timelines, and logistics costs. * Lead inventory management, ensuring accuracy, appropriate turnover, and reduced shrinkage. * Negotiate with logistics providers (carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders). * Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as **OTIF, lead time, logistics costs, and service level**. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (SAT, Ministry of Economy, customs authorities, among others). * Coordinate internal and external audits (customers, certifications, and authorities). * Develop and implement **continuous improvement** strategies across the supply chain. * Lead, train, and develop the logistics team. ### **3\. Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **Experience:** + Over **5 years** of experience in a similar position. + Demonstrable experience in: - Foreign trade (imports and exports) - IMMEX program - Annex 24 and inventory control - Customs processes and regulatory compliance - Distribution and transportation * **Language:** Advanced English (bilingual). * **Systems:** Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or others). * Solid knowledge of **Mexican customs legislation**. * Experience managing audits (desirable: **SEDEX, CTPAT, OEA**). ### **4\.
