Position Summary: Leads the analysis, design, and optimization of the distribution network, managing key strategic initiatives and enhancing logistics capabilities. Key Highlights: 1. Management of relationships with carriers and logistics operators **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of the distribution network, comprehensively managing key strategic initiatives and ensuring their effective end-to-end execution. * Continuously evaluate the current logistics structure (suppliers, processes, and technologies) to identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service level improvement that strengthen the company’s distribution capabilities, transforming them into a sustainable competitive advantage. * Coordinate tenders (RFPs) and negotiate cost structures with logistics providers. * Develop, negotiate, and implement Service Agreements & Statements of Work that clearly define expectations, scopes, and operational requirements for our business partners. * Manage relationships with carriers, forwarders, and logistics operators, ensuring performance, reliability, and contractual compliance. * Define and implement performance metrics (Scorecards, Dashboards, KPIs) to effectively measure results, ensure operational visibility, and guarantee identification and execution of corrective actions to drive continuous improvement. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement with suppliers and internal teams to elevate service levels and systematically reduce costs. * Collaborate with suppliers to resolve incidents and manage complaints, as well as coordinate and optimize reverse logistics processes. * Lead the development of executive and operational reports, and collaborate cross-functionally with various organizational areas, business units, and corporate (Masco). **POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** **EDUCATION** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, Logistics, or related field. * Master’s degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain, Administration, or related fields. * Preferred certifications such as Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent. * Complementary training in Logistics, Transportation, and Supply Chain preferred. **EXPERIENCE** * Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Supply Chain within global or multinational companies. * 2 years of experience in a Manager-level position. * Experience in supplier management, transportation, 3PL, and continuous improvement projects. **KNOWLEDGE** * Knowledge of operational, financial, and regulatory characteristics of various transportation modes across Mexico, the United States, and international markets. * Negotiation skills, project management, data analysis, and structured problem-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments. * Focus on continuous improvement, process standardization, and operational excellence. * Proficiency with supply chain-related systems and tools (ERP, TMS, WMS). * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. **COMPETENCIES** * Leadership, adaptability, urgency orientation, professionalism, customer-focused listening, sound decision-making, initiative, excellent work vision and purpose. * Demonstration of ethical and moral values, respect and customer focus, teamwork, and motivation. * Project management. **LANGUAGE SKILLS** * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency, with ability to conduct fluent conversations with corporate, carriers, brokers, and international suppliers. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English, appropriate for corporate environments. * Ability to deliver training, lead meetings, and present reports in both Spanish and English. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT** * This position is performed in enclosed offices configured for administrative work, with appropriate artificial lighting. * Mobility between different plants is required. * No significant physical effort is required; however, occasional handling of files, materials, or equipment weighing up to approximately 5 kilograms may be necessary.
