




Job Summary: The Engineering Intern – Import/Export will support the Foreign Trade Department in administrative activities related to the importation of materials and equipment for new production lines. Prior experience in foreign trade is not required Description and details of responsibilities The Engineering Intern – Import/Export will support the Foreign Trade Department in administrative activities related to the importation of materials and equipment for new production lines, participating in the submission and tracking of procedures on government platforms, under direct supervision and as part of Projects. * Support the submission of procedures and applications on government platforms related to foreign trade (VUCEM and applicable portals). * Provide administrative follow-up on imports linked to new production line projects. * Collect, review, and organize basic import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, permits, etc.). * Support the control and registration of imported materials and equipment for projects. * Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure correct identification of imported materials. * Support the management and record-keeping of information related to foreign trade programs (IMMEX / Annex 24) at a training level. * Provide administrative support during internal audits or document reviews, when required. * Prepare basic tracking and control reports. Experience and requirements * Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. * Basic knowledge of foreign trade or import/export processes. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel). * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to track procedures and meet deadlines. * Information analysis capability. * Interest in learning about production processes and engineering projects. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Basic English * Prior experience in foreign trade is not required; it will be considered as a plus.
