The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the company's financial health. The Controller will play a crucial role in implementing procedures, managing teams, and analyzing data to support strategic decision\-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * Oversee the financial operations of the maquiladora, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Implement and monitor financial procedures and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. * Manage and lead the finance team, providing guidance and support in their daily activities. * Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. * Prepare and present accurate budgets and financial statements to senior management. * Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. * Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits and tax filings. * Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Experience and requirements **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Minimum of 6 years of experience in a controller position within a maquiladora or manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. * Proven experience in implementing financial procedures and systems. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Proficient in MS Office, Contpaq, TRESS.
