Job Description and Activity Details The test engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting tests on electronic solutions to ensure compliance with product specifications, international standards, and customer requirements. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, test automation, and close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to drive product development, certification, and continuous improvement. * Develop test procedures and protocols according to IEC, UL, and other relevant standards. * Perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests (temperature cycling, vibration, EMC, dielectric, etc.). * Simulate real operating conditions to validate product reliability and performance. * Set up and maintain test benches, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. * Record and analyze test results using statistical tools and software. * Identify root causes of failures and propose corrective actions. * Prepare comprehensive test reports for internal teams, customers, and certification bodies. * Assist in pre-compliance testing and collaborate with external certification laboratories. * Ensure products meet applicable safety, performance, and EMC/EMI standards. * Collaborate with the R&D team to suggest design optimizations based on test feedback. * Support the Quality Control department in process improvements and reliability programs. * Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy. Experience and Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field. * 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical/electronic product testing, preferably with industrial automation products. * Practical experience with power electronics systems or motor control is desirable. * Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal imaging cameras, and other lab instruments. * Knowledge of relevant IEC/UL standards for power electronics and motor starters (e.g., IEC 60947, UL 508). * Experience with PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and load simulation setups is a plus. * Basic programming skills for test automation (Python, LabVIEW, or similar). * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
