Description and details of responsibilities Develop, design, and optimize products, structures, or components using specialized design software, ensuring functionality, quality, aesthetics, and manufacturability of company projects. **Description and details of responsibilities** * Create CAD drawings for projects ranging from conceptual and approval documents to fully detailed shop drawings and construction documents. * Maintain organized project files with proper folder structure. * Collaborate with managers to develop precise scope and requirements for each assignment. * Assist with prototype development and fabrication as needed. * Support project and sales managers with manufacturing guidelines, best practices, and technical assistance as required. * Familiar with common woodworking materials, as well as metals, acrylics, and common finishes such as paints and powder coatings. * + Manage multiple active projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining * consistency and quality standards. * Develop and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and product or structural renders. * Interpret design requirements from customers or the sales department. * Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement departments to validate technical feasibility of designs. * Generate technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications). * Ensure designs comply with internal quality and safety standards. * Perform simulations or virtual testing when required by the project. * Propose improvements in materials, processes, or design methods to optimize manufacturing costs and timelines. * Provide technical support to the production department during manufacturing or installation of projects. * Maintain up-to-date digital design archives and backups. Experience and Requirements Experience and Requirements * Required Academic Degree: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. Advanced English, fully bilingual (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT) Proficiency in computer-aided design software Responsible, Honest. Highly organized, detail-oriented, focused, and efficient. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
