**Waste Management Services**
VLS Waste Services provides customized solutions for managing industrial and commercial waste—both hazardous and non-hazardous—including landfill diversion and sustainability programs, liquid waste solidification, recycling, wastewater treatment, and secure waste containment.
**Railcar Services**
VLS Railcar Cleaning and Repair Services division offers specialized cleaning services for difficult-to-handle products—including chemicals, hardened materials, and pressurized gases—as well as comprehensive repair services covering full-service certified repairs, tank car qualifications, and maintenance.
**Marine Services**
VLS Marine Services division provides state-of-the-art barge cleaning and repair, as well as gas-free facilities for various chemical solvents and petroleum-derived products.
Requirements:
* **Position Profile**
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, Biology, Oceanography, and/or Natural Sciences
* Languages: Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish and English
* Required Skills:
* 3 years of experience in environmental sales.
* Knowledge of the hazardous waste market, its treatment, and final disposal techniques.
* Ability to operate a motor vehicle for 4–6 hours per day.
* Ability to listen and speak clearly and courteously by phone and in person.
* Knowledge of environmental regulations in Mexico and the United States of America.
* Familiarity with basic field sampling equipment (e.g., LEL, Halide, pH, etc.).
* Valid driver’s license.

* **General Purpose**
Administration of all sales-related activities associated with this position.
* **Key Responsibilities**
* Manage and administer sales for assigned accounts, meeting monthly sales targets.
* Establish goals for acquiring new accounts and prospects as defined by the Sales Manager.
* Coordinate with management on actions required to generate new accounts and follow up via telephone or in-person visits.
* Maintain regular contact with active customers via telephone and in person.
* Conduct company visits, collect samples, capture profiles (U.S. and Mexican), and support waste collection programs when required.
* Support resolution of issues with active customers, such as waste acceptance, billing, collection scheduling, labeling, and profile preparation.
* Attend periodic sales training sessions as required.
* Provide customers with information—upon request—to assist them in complying with environmental legislation.
