




Job Summary: Supervise production operations, personnel, and safety, ensuring quality, productivity, and environmental compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Interdepartmental interaction to achieve production objectives. **REQUIRED EDUCATION:** · Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred). · Technical degree; position may be filled by demonstrating competence acquired through experience. · Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in the production department (verifiable). · Experience and knowledge of flexographic printing machines (corrugated board) and/or experience with foam machines (extruder, sealer, perforator, and EPS) (desirable). · Basic English enabling interpretation of instructions in documentation and machinery. · Knowledge of the 8D methodology and/or equivalent. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:** · Leadership. · Proficiency in problem-solving tools. · Analytical ability. · Decision-making. · Teamwork. · Personnel management. · Communication skills. · Organized. · Dynamic. · Proactive. · Willingness to work rotating shifts. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Responsible for creating, with direct reports, a work environment enabling achievement of quality, productivity, safety, environmental, and food safety performance indicators. · Must ensure all work areas are clean and organized (5S + 1). · Ensure all personnel under supervision work under safe conditions and wear complete personal protective equipment (PPE) (goggles, gloves, earplugs, boots, beard covers, hairnets, etc.) and maintain it in optimal condition. · Timely inform direct reports about latent hazards and risks in the work area. · Responsible for training, coaching, and developing the team in safety, quality, food safety, environmental matters, and production problem resolution within the conversion department’s operations. · Supervise crew compliance with food safety, safety, environmental, and quality standards. · The Shift Supervisor interacts with supervisors from other departments, production staff, and customer service to ensure on-time production quality and achievement of objectives. · Leadership in safety processes in coordination with the Safety Department. · Monitor containment of liquid spills (inks, glue, water, lubricants, etc.). · Promote comprehensive health care for oneself and direct reports. · Supervise activities of direct reports. · Assign tasks to personnel as required by the process. · Ensure proper identification of materials and products in production. · Ensure correct use of chemicals in appropriate, labeled containers. · Ensure timely and accurate generation of daily production reports per internal production procedures. *At Bio Pappel, we do not discriminate based on age, gender, race or nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or any other dimension that infringes upon human rights.* Employment Type: Full-time Benefits: * Tuition assistance * Company parking * Discounted cafeteria service * Complimentary uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site
