Description and details of activities * The Class V operator must have detailed knowledge of assembly. * Is capable of performing all assemblies for different production models. * Trains and certifies assemblers and machine operators in their designated cells to achieve their learning curve. * Provides follow-up on the training matrix for assemblers and production operators. * Monitors and records production data to ensure safety, quality, and productivity of the manufacturing process. * Communicates any issues to production supervisors. * Responsible for the complete manufacturing process, including: proper operation of plant equipment, changeover setup, quality control tests of finished products, troubleshooting process issues, monitoring raw material availability / material shortages, 5S in the area, and safety. * Supervises machine performance to ensure all processes are operating correctly and the product is being produced to specifications.
