We are opening our doors to new talent for our SMT department. As an **SMT Technician**, you will ensure the proper operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities in a production plant through preventive, corrective maintenance, and set-up activities focused on SMT equipment. ***Main Responsibilities:*** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on paste printers, mounters (Pick and Place), reflow ovens, AOI, SPI. * Program SMT equipment. * Maintain the operational integrity of SMT machines. * Conduct startup checklists and equipment configuration. * Under direct supervision, develop, modify, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). ***Key Activities:*** * Carry out periodic preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to prevent failures, detect wear, and ensure operational efficiency. * Perform corrective maintenance when malfunctions or defects occur in machines, equipment, and instruments. * Diagnose problems, repair or replace damaged components, and return assets to operation. * Propose and implement improvements to processes, machines, and equipment to optimize energy efficiency, setup times, performance, and availability. * Maintain records of completed activities (maintenance, repairs, setups), detected failures, downtime, and other performance indicators within the area. * Safety: Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are conducted in compliance with industrial safety and hygiene standards. * The SMT Technician has direct responsibility for the operational availability and efficiency of machines and equipment involved in the SMT production processes. **Education:** Technical degree or high school diploma (desirable) **Required Experience:** Minimum 2 years working with SMT machines (printers, mounters, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI).
