We are a husband and wife led, entrepreneurial company with long standing ties to the maquiladora industry of Baja, Mexico. We distribute world\-class brands of air tools and industrial supplies without intermediaries. What makes us different is our tight focus on assembly, grinding, bolting, and material removal processes. We work with manufacturing engineers to help improve their workflows, increase operator productivity, and ultimately make their companies more profitable. **The Position:** With the proliferation of the number of plants along the border, we are seeking a self\-motivated salesperson to help us grow our account base in Baja, California Mexico. This position will involve some account management and organically growing our existing customers, but this is primarily a hunter role, calling on new business and developing new projects. **Type of Employment:** Employer of Record (EOR) – Includes “Prestaciones Mexicanas" or External Contractor (Simplified Trust Regime \- RESICO \- Regimen Simplificado de Confianza) without a fixed work schedule \- "Sin Horario Fijo" **Key Responsibilities:** As the owner of the territory, your main tasks will include: * **Business Development:** Create and implement a strategic growth plan for Baja California. * **High\-Impact Prospecting:** Conduct daily prospecting (in person, calls, email, LinkedIn) in order to schedule appointments. * **Strategic Relationships:** Meet with Manufacturing Engineers, Production and Maintenance Managers, and MRO Buyers with the goal of generating projects and building long\-term trust. * **Technical Consulting:** Tour plants to identify processes that might be improved through the implementation of our products and services. * **Coordination and Demonstrations with Suppliers:** Organize on\-site product demonstrations with the support of our suppliers. Help pick the vendors up at the border, assist with the “Forma Migratoria” and drop them back off at the border at the end of the day. * **"Sourcing" \-** Identify weaknesses in the client's supply chain and propose solutions to help them source items from abroad that they otherwise might have difficulty obtaining in Mexico. Utilize our large assortment of vendors to fill gaps in their supply chains. * **Teamwork:** Actively collaborate and communicate with our internal Customer Service team to ensure the client is taken care of before, during, and after the sale (quotes, orders, tracking, follow\-up). * **Training:** Attend monthly business meetings and product training sessions * **Reporting:** Document weekly sales activities in a CRM system **Essential Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed university degree (Engineering or Business degrees are preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in sales working with the *maquiladora* industry. * **Prospecting:** Willingness to consistently pursue new business. * **Skills:** Proven ability to think "outside the box" and deliver solutions to our customers. * **Technical Knowledge:** Basic understanding of power tools, industrial supplies (MRO), and/or assembly concepts a plus. * **Technology:** Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email platforms (Outlook/Gmail). * **Attitude:** Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine interest in developing a long\-term career in the field of Industrial Distribution. * **English:** 80% Fluent in Written and Spoken English * **Reliable Transportation:** This position requires the use of your own automobile (allowance provided) **What We Offer (Compensation and Benefits):** * **Competitive Compensation:** Attractive base salary plus a monthly commission plan based on results. * **Flexibility:** Freedom to organize your own schedule and manage the territory as if it were your own company. * **Home Office –** This is a home office based position * **Technology and Tools Provided:** Company\-paid phone, laptop, and credit card for client entertainment expenses. * **Travel Allowance:** Monthly allowance/per diem for the use of a personal vehicle (Gas, Mileage, Etc.) * **Benefits:** Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. * **Growth:** Upward potential, as we may eventually need a Sales Manager and/or Branch Manager for Baja California as the business grows. * **Casual Environment:** We are a small, non\-corporate company that encourages work\-life balance and a work hard\-play hard mentality.
