The Automation / Controls Engineer will program manufacturing equipment and introduce controls while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, ergonomics, cost\-efficiency, and productivity. Optimizes manufacturing equipment and control systems, validates and debugs equipment and controls, provides documentation and trainings for equipment and processes. Leads controls and MES standardization activities in the plant. About Your Job:* Programming of manufacturing equipment on site (PLC, HMI, Cameras and vision systems, Robots, etc.) under consideration of safety regulations, quality standards, ergonomics, cycle time, line layout, number of operators, cost, etc. * Debugging and validating new equipment in the plant from controls and MES side * Lead controls and MES standardization activities in the plant and train the plant team members on controls * Create and maintain electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and logic diagrams for new and existing equipment * Support the creation of the necessary manufacturing documentation for the equipment (process flow chart, line layout, PFMEA, line specification, cycle time analysis/line balancing, equipment documentation, etc.) * MES integration for new manufacturing equipment on site * Research, develop and introduce new process and automation technologies and equipment and collaborate with the global APD\&A team and cross functional teams * Support the plant with process optimization activities related to controls and MES * Other duties as assigned About You:* Bachelor’s degree in electronics/mechatronics engineering or comparable * 5\+ years of working experience * Deep knowledge and experience of equipment/machine electrical design and controls * Team player with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail * Proactive self\-developer, passionate about technology, eager to make a change * Flexible and willing to work with cross\-functional teams * Great communication skills * Spanish and English language. — , . \#LI\-KRL
