Job Summary: We are seeking a Packaging Engineer responsible for designing and optimizing packaging for metal and wood furniture, ensuring product protection and logistical efficiency. We are looking for a Packaging Engineer responsible for developing and improving packaging for metal-and-wood furniture destined for the retail sector, ensuring product protection throughout the supply chain while optimizing logistics and material costs. · Key Responsibilities: Design packaging for new metal-and-wood furniture products. Develop technical specifications and packaging documentation. Conduct packaging and transportation validation testing. Implement improvements to reduce damage during storage and distribution. Optimize packaging dimensions to maximize logistical efficiency. Coordinate pilot tests and cost-reduction projects. Manage suppliers of packaging materials and solutions. Prepare packaging and assembly instructions. Requirements: Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering or related field. Experience in industrial packaging development. Knowledge of packaging materials, logistics, and supply chain. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar). Experience in cost analysis, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing.
