WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!! **DBA (ETL)** **Work arrangement: Hybrid (2 days per week in office)** **Address:** Avenida Patriotismo 266, San Pedro de los Pinos, Benito Juárez, 03800 Ciudad de México, CDMX. **Project Duration: 4 Months** **Experience:** 3 to 5 years in a similar role **Key Responsibilities or Objective Functions of the Role:** * Ensure data stability, optimize structures, and lead the technical execution of data extraction, transformation, and coexistence between legacy systems (Informix) and the new architecture (PostgreSQL) * ETL Design and Data Cleansing: Define and apply strict data sanitization rules, including handling of null values (Nulls), removal of whitespace (Trim), and standardization of character encodings (Encodings) * Integrity Assurance: Validate foreign keys and ensure no orphaned records exist during migrations * Manage complex structures, such as transactional tables with more than 20 fields, handling pointers (OIDs) and indexes * Synchronization and Coexistence (Real\-Time): Implement change capture mechanisms (Triggers or CDC) to maintain dual and bidirectional operational continuity between the legacy and new systems, resolving simultaneous update conflicts and avoiding "infinite loops" * Performance Tuning: Continuously optimize SQL queries and create indexes to improve response times and accelerate system reporting * Specialized Maintenance: Provide specialized maintenance for the database structure to ensure operational continuity of critical financial processes. * Database Engine Technical Specifications: Advanced experience with PostgreSQL (target database) and Informix (source database) * Data Architecture: Expertise in designing transactional schemas and catalogs, as well as understanding financial models (policies, receipts, collections, settlements) * Cloud/Container Environments: Operational understanding of OpenShift and Kubernetes architectures to collaborate with infrastructure teams, ensuring database operations do not saturate cluster resources (CPU/Memory) **WE OFFER:** * Career development plan * Hybrid work arrangement (primarily remote, with occasional office visits) * Statutory benefits and additional perks
