Civil Works Supervisor

Position Summary: Supervise and coordinate the execution of civil works, ensuring quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, while managing teams and monitoring progress. Key Highlights: 1. Technical and operational supervision of construction projects. 2. Coordination of teams, contractors, and regulatory compliance. 3. Quality control, safety, and construction project management. Objective: Supervise proper execution of construction work in accordance with client-required quality and safety standards, while complying with internal procedures. Responsibilities: Technical Supervision. Verify correct on-site execution of activities per drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations. Monitor physical progress of construction and submit periodic reports to the Construction Management and Project Control Department. Validate proper application of materials, construction processes, and finishes. Ensure implementation of sound construction practices and local regulations. Prepare weekly reports as required by the Construction Management Department. Operational Supervision. Coordinate and monitor contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel. Coordinate with Installation Supervision for execution of installation works and interface between installations and civil works. Inspect incoming materials, machinery, and equipment to site. Control productivity, timelines, and resources assigned to the project. Identify deviations and promptly propose technical and operational solutions, reporting to Construction Management. Review subcontractor estimates. Safety and Quality. Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations on site. Report incidents and participate in occupational risk prevention programs. Review implementation of quality control procedures across all construction phases. Identify and report quality non-conformities. Track identified non-conformities to ensure closure. Communication and Coordination. Act as the direct point of contact among on-site personnel, suppliers, and external supervisors. Participate in progress meetings, delivering clear and accurate status reports on construction. Prepare and coordinate with the administrative area (Project Control) material and service requisitions. Track change orders and field adjustments issued by Management or the Client. Ensure proper completion of the site logbook by each subcontractor. Experience. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil and finishing works supervision. Experience coordinating contractors. Experience in construction control and construction processes.
