At El Bulto del Sabor, a restaurant specializing in stewed tacos, we are looking for a responsible, organized Restaurant Manager with a passion for customer service. This person will be in charge of coordinating daily operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. The objective of the position is to guarantee that each customer enjoys a delicious and consistent experience, while maintaining standards of hygiene, inventory control, and achievement of business goals. ⸻ Main responsibilities: * Supervise the opening and closing of the restaurant, ensuring everything is ready for timely operations. * Coordinate and support the kitchen, counter, and cleaning teams. * Verify the quality, presentation, and temperature of stews before service. * Manage inventories, place supplier orders, and control losses. * Attend customers courteously and effectively resolve incidents. * Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and preparation of basic reports. * Operate and supervise the use of POS platforms for sales recording, order control, and reporting. * Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations. * Motivate, train, and evaluate staff to maintain a positive work environment. * Propose and implement improvements in service, costs, and sales. ⸻ Requirements: * Previous experience as manager or assistant manager in a restaurant, diner, or taco stand (minimum 1 year). * Basic knowledge of administration, inventory, and cash handling. * Experience using POS platforms (point of sale). * Leadership, organization, and effective communication skills. * Proactivity, responsibility, and problem-solving ability. * Availability to work within the established shift schedule. ⸻ Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ⸻ About us: At El Bulto del Sabor, we are passionate about offering the best stewed tacos, prepared with homemade flavor and warm service.
