Train and raise awareness among staff on environmental protection. **Job Objective** Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations during construction execution through the implementation, supervision, and control of environmental mitigation measures, minimizing impacts on the environment and ensuring project sustainability. **Functions and Responsibilities** **Environmental Management on Site:** * Supervise compliance with current environmental regulations. * Implement the project’s environmental management plan. * Identify and mitigate environmental impacts arising from construction activities. * Conduct field inspections to verify adherence to sound environmental practices. **Waste Control:** * Classify, control, and ensure proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. * Coordinate waste collection and disposal with authorized providers. * Maintain records and logs of waste generation. **Regulatory Compliance:** * Ensure compliance with regulations issued by SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, and local authorities. * Prepare documentation for environmental audits and inspections. * Track permits, licenses, and environmental conditions. **Monitoring and Reporting:** * Prepare periodic environmental reports. * Monitor environmental indicators (emissions, waste, water consumption, etc.). * Document evidence of compliance. **Training and Awareness:** * Train site personnel on environmental topics. * Promote a culture of environmental stewardship. * Implement awareness campaigns. **Job Profile** **Education:** * Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * 2–4 years in construction projects. * Experience in on-site environmental supervision. **Technical Knowledge:** * Mexican environmental legislation (SEMARNAT, PROFEPA). * Hazardous waste management (NOM\-052, NOM\-054, etc.). * Environmental impact assessment. * Environmental management systems (ISO 14001 preferred). * Preparation of technical reports. **Skills:** * Problem analysis and resolution. * Observation and attention to detail. * Effective communication. * Fieldwork. * Organization and follow-up.
