**Job Description** ------------------------- Monitor all production operational processes involving product quality at the Plant; as well as technical activities related to sample preparation and handling, equipment cleaning and verification, and execution of fresh and hardened concrete tests; applying throughout the established quality system that ensures proper performance of the quality control area. Guarantee appropriate customer service when required. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- 1\. Execution of fresh concrete tests in accordance with procedure POC 01 "Fresh Concrete" (slump, temperature, unit weight, specimen preparation, air content) 2\. Directly responsible for proper inventory management and cleaning of laboratory equipment and facilities. See procedure POC 09 "Equipment Verification and Calibration". 3\. Collect, record, and ensure appropriate measurement of environmental conditions and curing rooms or tanks required for sample control per procedure POC 02 "Hardened Concrete". 4\. Execution of hardened concrete tests in accordance with procedure POC 02 "Hardened Concrete" (formwork removal, identification, specimen scheduling, compression or flexural testing). 5\. Ensure proper adherence to the Laboratory Quality System. 6\. Enter all test-generated information into internal databases for consultation and analysis. Per procedure POC 10 "Statistical Techniques". 7\. Collection of specimens or movement of raw materials between plants and laboratories. 8\. Supervisory visits, inspections, and sampling at aggregate mines. 9\. When required, perform sampling of cement, water, admixtures, or additions for submission to specialized testing and/or conduct basic aggregate tests (gradation, wash loss, density, absorption, bulk densities), per procedure POC 04 "Quality Plan". 10\. Execution of laboratory tests for optimization, design, and/or new product projects—provided the Quality Control Analyst is present. Per procedures POC 01 and POC 02 "Fresh Concrete" and "Hardened Concrete". 11\. Comprehensively and impartially report all obtained results to the Quality Analyst and promptly alert upon detecting any deviation.
