As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team! **Why this role matters right now:** Neostella’s Custom Development team is scaling rapidly—supporting more clients, more complex implementations, and higher technical expectations with every new project. Our solutions must be secure, scalable, and reliable while still being delivered quickly and within budget. This role exists because we need a senior technical leader who can operate across projects, handle deep technical complexity, and keep development teams unblocked. As a Solutions Architect, your decisions directly impact delivery speed, solution quality, and the long\-term health of our technical stack. **What you’ll manage:** We’re looking for a Solutions Architect to design and guide the technical architecture across all Custom Development projects. You’ll work closely with the Custom Development Manager, Project Managers, Technical Leads, and developers to ensure solutions meet client requirements while aligning with Neostella’s technical standards. You’ll serve as the primary technical escalation point for the team—stepping in to solve complex challenges, reviewing architectures and code, and filling gaps when projects require expertise beyond a single discipline (backend or frontend). You’ll also own the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to continuously improve how we build and deliver software. Check out the details below! **Key Responsibilities:** **Technical Escalation \& Problem Solving** * Serve as the primary technical escalation point, quickly unblocking developers and resolving complex issues to keep projects moving forward. **Architecture \& Code Reviews** * Lead architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to coding standards, completing all required checklist items to support on\-time delivery. **Cross\-Functional Technical Collaboration** * Partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technical Leads to design scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs, actively contributing to grooming, planning, and design sessions. **Technology Evaluation \& Innovation** * Research and assess new technologies to improve backend performance and efficiency, tracking progress in Jira and pausing work as needed to support higher\-priority team needs. **Cross\-Project Performance \& Scalability Oversight** * Identify performance, scalability, and security issues across projects, and collaborate with Technical Leads to implement improvements and share best practices organization\-wide. **Technical Documentation Ownership** * Own and maintain technical documentation for cross\-project features, tools, and technologies to ensure continuity, traceability, and efficient onboarding. **Recruitment \& Technical Assessment Support** * Support hiring efforts by reviewing code tests and participating in interviews to ensure candidates meet technical standards. **Time Tracking \& Utilization** * Accurately log time with clear, timely entries and consistently meet utilization targets. **Knowledge Sharing \& Continuous Improvement** * Stay current on emerging technologies, recommend improvements, and foster a culture of learni **Requirements** * 5\+ years of experience in software development. * CEFR Level B2 English language proficiency. * Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns. * Extensive experience with serverless architecture, AWS, and Python. (For Backend Solutions Architect) * Strong knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. (For Backend Solutions Architect) * Extensive experience with React, JavaScript, Material UI, and Formik.
