




Position Summary: Coordination and administration of procurement, logistics, import, and customs clearance operations to ensure smooth goods flow and cost optimization. Key Highlights: 1. Optimization of logistics costs and budgets. **ITG MEXICO IS SEEKING TALENT DUE TO GROWTH** **LOGISTICS AND PROCUREMENT SUPPORT** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Supplier and Procurement Management: Selection of official suppliers and administration of purchase orders to ensure supply of materials required by the commercial department. · Supply and Inventory Control: Validation of orders and delivery timelines to guarantee compliance with agreed delivery dates to end customers. · Import and International Trade Management: Coordination of shipment clearance from origin (FW) to release (AA), customs clearance, technical/commercial documentation management, and oversight of procedures to prevent delays and ensure uninterrupted goods flow. · Logistics and Distribution: Planning of logistics forecasts (imports) and coordination of transportation (domestic and international) to warehouses or direct customers. · Cost and Budget Administration: Freight quotation, calculation of final logistics expense per operation, and management of payments/advances to optimize departmental budget. · SAP Data Management: Recording of goods receipt, updating of purchase prices, and maintenance of item codes in the system to enable invoicing and ensure data integrity. · Audit and Document Retention: Validation of service invoices, audit of packing lists, and consolidation of physical and digital files for each operation. **REQUIREMENTS:** · Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field. · Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, logistics, and customs clearance departments, including scheduling air and sea shipments, and managing national and international suppliers. · Experience with SAP Procurement module. · Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency. · Familiarity with SAP (Procurement module) preferred. · Knowledge of Customs Law, tariff classification, Incoterms, and value declaration. · Intermediate Excel proficiency. **COMPETENCIES:** Communication, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Responsibility, Service Orientation, Planning, Organization and Control, Stress and Frustration Tolerance.
