**Position Purpose:** Provide support to Fortra's cybersecurity team by analyzing suspicious emails, phishing attempts, scams, and potential cyber threats, ensuring the protection of corporate information. This role aims to develop young talent interested in cybersecurity, offering training and continuous mentoring to build technical and analytical experience. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze suspicious emails and detect potential phishing or malware attempts. * Monitor and classify security alerts from various sources. * Assist in investigating security incidents and escalate them according to internal protocols. * Use open-source analysis tools such as DomainDossier, MXToolbox, VirusTotal, or Any.Run. * Document findings, reports, and indicators of compromise (IOCs). * Collaborate with the global security team to continuously improve processes and policies. **Requirements:** **Education:** * Recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields. **Experience:** * No formal work experience required; professional internships, personal projects, or cybersecurity training will be valued. **Technical Skills:** * Basic knowledge of computer security, phishing, and malware. * Familiarity with email and digital threat analysis tools. * Advanced English proficiency (mandatory, for communication with international teams). * Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Go) is desirable. **Soft Competencies:** * Analytical curiosity and attention to detail. * Critical thinking and results orientation. * Proactivity and willingness to learn in technical environments. * Effective communication and collaborative teamwork. **Success Indicators (KPIs):** * Accuracy in incident analysis and classification. * Adherence to established response times. * Active participation in training activities. * Level of autonomy achieved within the first year. **Location and Work Modality:** * **Hybrid**, based in **Guadalajara, Jalisco.** * Remote work with availability to occasionally attend the office. **Salary:** 21,000 MXN gross monthly.
