Requirements: * 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design applied to manufacturing * Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) * Knowledge and experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks: surfaces, welded parts, manufacturing drawings. * Real-world manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and welding. * Design simulation and analysis. * Knowledge of modeling and prototyping techniques (3D printing, CNC, hand tools, etc.). * Geometric tolerancing. * Knowledge of material selection principles and techniques. * Design for manufacturing. * Mechanical assembly design * Finite element analysis knowledge is desirable. * Material selection based on requirements, stresses, and operating conditions.
