Job Summary: We are seeking a Lathe Operator to manufacture, finish, and repair parts using conventional lathes and milling machines, as well as perform machine maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manufacturing and finishing of parts using conventional lathes and milling machines 2. Maintenance and repair of food production machinery 3. Ongoing training and support for education Join our team as a **LATHE OPERATOR** **Duties and Responsibilities** Manufacture or finish parts, rough turning on conventional lathes, adjustments and tolerances for bearings, threading of rods, use of milling machines and mechanical components, and also carry out maintenance and repair work on machines to ensure proper operation. **Required Skills** * Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications of parts. * Operate conventional lathes for machining components (shafts, bushings, axles, threads, etc.). * Manufacture replacement parts for food production machinery. * Repair worn or damaged components. * Select appropriate cutting tools and machining parameters. * Measure and verify parts using precision instruments. * Perform basic lathe maintenance. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with hygiene and food safety standards (prevent product contamination). * Follow industrial safety procedures **Requirements** * Technical degree in Machine Tools, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience * Responsibility * Proactivity **WE OFFER** * Statutory benefits (AFORE, INFONAVIT, Christmas bonus, vacation pay) * Profit sharing * 8% savings fund * Subsidized cafeteria (50% subsidy) * Transportation * Funeral expense assistance * Ongoing training * Support for education * Weekly salary Employment type: Full-time Salary: $16,000\.00 \- $20,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Company parking Application question(s): * Do you hold any related engineering degree?
