The role requires a deep understanding of modern architectures and agile delivery methodologies. * ***Full Remote position*** ### **What will you be doing?** * Collaborate directly with clients as a key member of their scrum teams to translate requirements into scalable, reliable cloud\-based applications. * Lead development efforts with a focus on Java (approx. 50%), React (approx. 35%), and Node.js (approx. 15%). * Design, write, test, document, and deploy robust code using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and React/Next.js. * Build reusable code, libraries, and backend APIs, optimizing for speed and scalability. * Design and implement data storage solutions, using MySQL and Redis. * Leverage your expertise in Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes (EKS) for containerization and cloud infrastructure management. * Support and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI). * Participate actively in design and architecture discussions and agile sprint team ceremonies, understanding microservices principles. * Contribute to the product vision and explore/propose new technologies. * As the foundational member of our Mexico team, coach, mentor, and provide local support to future Metafora engineers. ### **How you'll do it:** * **Own It: This is our company, and its success is our success. We develop ourselves, learn from others, and generously share what we know. ### **What we need:** * 7\+ years of professional software development experience. * Strong proficiency and hands\-on experience in: + 5\+ years of hands on experience with Java (17\+), SpringBoot and Node.js. + 3\+ years of hands on experience with React and Next.js. + 2\+ years of hands on experience with Node.js. * Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes (specifically EKS), and AWS cloud services are essential. * Experience with MySQL, Redis, Kafka, and CircleCI are preferred. * Solid understanding of building and consuming REST APIs and microservices architecture. * Proficient understanding of build and source control tools (e.g., Git). * Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies. * Excellent problem\-solving, debugging, and communication skills. * Passion for mentoring and team leadership. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of proficiency in English. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree. ##### ***Privacy Notice: (I).
