At **American Vanguard**, we are advancing agriculture through innovation, sustainability, and tangible results. **About the Job:** The **Human Resources Generalist** with a focus on **Regional Recruitment for LATAM** will be responsible for providing daily support in key HR functions while leading recruitment processes for positions across Latin America. This role combines generalist responsibilities \- such as labor relations, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, HR data management, and organizational development for the Mexico team \- with regional talent acquisition activities, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local labor regulations in coordination with cross-functional and multicultural teams. **Key Responsibilities:** **Human Resources Generalist (for Mexico):** * Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR matters such as internal policies, benefits, procedures, and general support. * Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including contracts, addendums, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and absences. * Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with labor regulations during audits and internal reviews. * Support the identification of training needs, coordinate courses or workshops, and manage logistics and follow-up. * Administer employee benefits and support annual enrollment and renewal processes, coordinating with providers and assisting employees. * Assist in implementing employee engagement surveys, satisfaction surveys, or other HR-related assessments. * Support the organization of employee engagement activities. * Contribute to HR initiatives that promote retention, engagement, and organizational development. * Work closely with the HR Manager and department leaders to support workforce planning and talent development initiatives. * Support the creation and execution of HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance with local legislation and company objectives. * Provide support on labor relations matters and assist in investigations when necessary. * Coordinate and follow up on the annual performance review cycle and support managers in talent development planning. * Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews and system deactivations. * Prepare and validate pre-payroll information, including attendance incidents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to the payroll team. * Support the implementation of future HR projects and initiatives as required. **Recruitment and Onboarding (for LATAM countries):** * Coordinate recruitment processes in LATAM countries in collaboration with the Regional HRBP and local managers. * Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders. * Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a professional and timely experience. * Manage the onboarding process for all new hires in the region, including system profile creation, ensuring completion of all legal documents, and maintaining updated personnel files. * Coordinate and lead orientation sessions for new employees in the region. **Experience and Skills:** * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with remote teams and work in multicultural environments. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail. * High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in general Human Resources roles. * At least 2 years of hands-on full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably for roles in LATAM countries. * Knowledge of local labor regulations and HR practices in Mexico. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR information systems (HRIS), and recruitment platforms (e.g., ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed, or similar). * Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is essential.
