Supporting quality control and preparing special samples A tequila-producing company is seeking talent for the position of **Laboratory Analyst** **Role and Responsibilities** * Receiving laboratory materials * Performing physicochemical and microbiological analyses * Determining ARD’S and ART’S in the production process (raw agave, agave juice) * Conducting distillations (spent wash, tequila, mezcal) * Preparing laboratory test result reports * Supporting quality control * Preparing solutions and reagents * Preparing culture media * Preparing controls * Maintaining logbooks * Releasing bulk and finished products * Preparing special samples and new formulations * Monitoring dilution water * Conducting microbiological analyses (NMP, CT, CF, EC) * Knowledge of microbial strains * Operating analytical equipment and instruments * Receiving and collecting samples **SKILLS** * Operating analytical equipment and instruments * Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Hygiene Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Laboratory Practices * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite * Statistical analysis Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $14,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Discounts and preferential pricing * Life insurance * Free uniforms * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Food vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
