Job Summary: Supervise and coordinate industrial safety and occupational health activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting employees and company assets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate accident investigations to reduce injuries. 2. Supervise compliance with industrial safety regulations. 3. Promote a safety culture at all levels. **SAFETY OFFICER** SUPERVISE PROCEDURES AND ACTIVITIES THAT ENSURE THE SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES AND COMPANY ASSETS, IN COMPLIANCE WITH GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY REGULATIONS. Schedule, implement, and verify industrial safety and occupational health training programs for yard personnel to meet STPS requirements. ▪ Supervise the completion of quality records for mechanical and electrical equipment undergoing maintenance. ▪ Verify equipment and machinery status records as well as tracking of anomalies. ▪ Procure supplies to meet personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for yard personnel. ▪ Verify implementation of the Industrial Safety Plan. ▪ Supervise document control, and issued/received reports from the industrial safety department. ▪ Provide first aid support to personnel in case of incidents. ▪ Conduct Safety Culture Talks for all levels of the company. **Specific Responsibilities:** **▪** Coordinate accident investigations to determine root causes of such incidents, thereby reducing injury and disability rates. ▪ Coordinate, supervise, and verify subcontractor compliance with governmental agency regulations and CONCAVUS standards. ▪ Verify personnel performance of duties within their respective areas of responsibility.
