Job Summary: We are seeking a Logistics Assistant to ensure accurate shipments and delivery of products in perfect condition, supervising handling and packaging. Key Highlights: 1. Promotes organization and attention to detail in the loading area Description We are a company with over 20 years of experience in the market, specializing nationwide in the design and manufacturing of closets. We are currently seeking a Logistics Assistant to support us in ensuring every shipment complies with the loading order and delivery timelines, while supervising delicate handling and proper packaging of products to guarantee that finishes arrive in perfect condition to the end customer. Responsibilities Parts verification: Physically inspect the system against the bill of materials. Visual inspection: Confirm parts have no scratches, chipped edges, or glue stains prior to packing. Hardware validation: Ensure each system includes the required number of packages. Product preparation: Assemble pallets. Job verification: Label each package with the customer name, job number, and total number of packages comprising the complete system. Strategic loading: Arrange pallets inside the transport vehicle. Cargo securing: Use straps and cardboard separators to prevent furniture from shifting or vibrating during transit. Loading area organization: Maintain the finished goods area clean and organized by order to avoid confusion. Incident reporting: Immediately notify the production department of any missing or damaged parts detected during the shipping process.
