




**Weekend Kitchen Assistant – El Sazzón de Marina** **Location:** Avenida Tepeyac #1236, Colonia Chapalita, Guadalajara, Jalisco **Schedule:** **Friday, Saturday, and Sunday** from **7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.** **Base salary:** $300 per day (weekly payment) + tips (approx. $120–$200 daily) **Job Description** Support daily kitchen operations, ensuring proper preparation of ingredients, cleanliness of the work area, and **handmade and/or press-made tortillas**, while maintaining the establishment’s hygiene, flavor, and presentation standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Daily preparation of **corn tortillas** (kneading, balling, pressing, and cooking on comal). * Prepare dough and maintain it under optimal conditions during service. * Assist with **basic food preparation** (chopping, washing, portioning). * Keep the tortilla station and kitchen area clean and organized. * Wash and store kitchen utensils and equipment. * Assist in plating simple dishes when required. * Comply with **food hygiene and safety standards**. * Follow instructions from the chef or kitchen supervisor during service. **Requirements** * Prior experience **making tortillas** (mandatory). * Basic knowledge of traditional Mexican cuisine (preferred). * Positive service attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. * Ability to work standing up and under fast-paced service conditions. * Punctuality, cleanliness, and responsibility. **Desired Skills** * Speed and consistency in tortilla preparation. * Organization and cleanliness. * Ability to follow procedures and recipes. * Physical stamina and concentration. **More information via WhatsApp: 3343242131** Job type: Trial period Salary: $450.00 per day Benefits: * Educational support * Salary increases * Discounts and preferential pricing * Staff cafeteria service Workplace: On-site employment
