Job Summary: Grupo Vanguardia is seeking a Cashier to manage cash transactions, ensure customer service excellence, and handle income/expense processing with accuracy and efficiency. We are looking for: CASHIER Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Job Objective: To manage cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring outstanding customer service and proper handling of income and expenses. What will you do? • Process sales transactions, returns, and payments in the point-of-sale system. • Handle cash and perform cash counting and reconciliation at the start and end of each shift. • Serve customers courteously and professionally, addressing inquiries and providing assistance. • Issue receipts and payment confirmations, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions. • Prepare daily cash reports and report any anomalies or discrepancies. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers. • Maintain a clean and organized cashier area. What are we looking for? • Minimum 1 year of prior experience in similar roles or in customer service. • Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proactive attitude, precision, and ability to work under pressure. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Preferred experience in the automotive sector or in a sales environment.
